The first arrest happened in the Aldi's parking lot at 440 Route 130 in East Windsor, police said.
Timothy Trifiro of Perrineville was found sleeping behind the wheel with his bumper dislodged at about 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, police said.
He was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving.
The second incident occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at about 10 a.m.
Police said that Trifiro was involved in a crash at the intersection of Route 33 and Lake Drive in East Windsor. He was charged with reckless driving, careless driving and multiple drug offenses, police said.
He was released pending court dates in both cases.
